American Corner Skopje Celebrates Its Second Anniversary

The American Corner in Skopje celebrated its second anniversary in January, 2007. The anniversary was celebrated on January 25 and was attended by about 100 members of the corner - participants in its programs as well as people who the Corner has been cooperating with over the past two years.

The opening speeches were given by Filip Petrovski, Director of the Braka Miladinovci City Library, Brian Shott, Public Affairs Officer at the US Embassy in Skopje and  Olivera Trajkova, Coordinator of the American Corner.  

Later, friends of the Corner had the opportunity to meet and talk with a background of classical music.  The Corner hosted an Open House for the remainder of the day.  A photo exhibit was also organized in the lobby, with photos from the past events at the Corner.
