This year, the Republic of Macedonia is represented at the Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellows Initiative by two outstanding students, Dona Kosturanova & Fisnik Oseku
(shown above with Ambassador Gillian Milovanovic before their departure).

After a length nomination, selection and interview process, Dona Kosturanova and Fisnik Oseku were recommended by the U.S. Embassy in Skopje and approved by the State Department in Washington as excellent representatives of the Republic of Macedonia in the first Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellowship (BFTF), a program that brings outstanding students from Europe, Eurasia and the U.S. together for three weeks of study, activity, discussion and educational travel.
