Dear American Citizens:
The American Citizen Services unit no longer issues security messages regarding routine demonstrations taking place in Macedonia. Instead, information about routine demonstrations is posted on the U.S. Embassy Skopje’s website, under the heading “Demonstrations.” Please monitor our website regularly for information about demonstration activities in the country. Please note that the Embassy will continue to issue emergency/security messages, not relating to demonstrations, through the regular method.
U.S. citizens living and residing in Macedonia are advised to register their presence in the country through the U.S. Department of State's automated online registration system, at https://travelregistration.state.gov/ibrs/ui/
U.S. citizens may also contact the Consular Section at the U.S. Embassy via e-mail or by calling +389 (02) 310-2000. In case of an emergency outside normal business hours, U.S. citizens may reach the Embassy duty officer by calling +389 (02) 310-2000.
