Internship Project with MAAA

Alumni Association Launches Internship Program on Television

The Macedonian American Alumni Association (MAAA), group of alumni from USG- sponsored exchange programs, launched its new internship program for college students collaboration with US Embassy Skopje in a series of television appearances, including twenty minutes on the nationally broadcast morning TV talk show.

For an interview with A1 Television, Atanas Kocov, president of MAAA, spoke in Macedonian, Educational Affairs Assistant Gazmend Ilazi spoke in Albanian, and APAO Amy Storrow spoke in English.

Applications for the internship program, which will operate throughout the entire country, are more than 100% over projected estimates. “ This program will make a better Macedonia, ” Kocov declared.

SEED funds support the project.
